SBAC Bank PLC. successfully organized a day-long workshop on financial management aimed at strengthening the capacity of women entrepreneurs in the CMSME sector, under the guidance of Bangladesh Bank.

The workshop was held on Sunday, 19 April 2026, at the Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute’s Shrimp Research Center in Bagerhat.

Mr. Md. Rokanuzzaman, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Khulna Office, attended the program as the Chief Guest. Mr. S. M. Kamaluzzaman Kamal, Director (Inspection), Bangladesh Bank, Khulna, was present as the Special Guest.

The session was conducted by Mr. Riazul Islam, Additional Director of the SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank, Khulna, who served as the Lead Speaker.

The workshop was presided over by Mr. S. M. Mainul Kabir, Managing Director & CEO of SBAC Bank PLC.

Among others present were Mr. Md. Mofazzal Mamun Khan, Chief Technology Officer & SEVP; Mr. Md. Rashed Akter, Head of Retail Distribution Division & SEVP; and Mr. Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Head of Credit Risk Management Division & EVP. Senior officials of the bank, branch managers, credit in-charges from the Khulna region, and a large number of women entrepreneurs also attended the workshop.
