SBAC Bank PLC recently organised its two-day “Annual Business Development Conference-2026” at Sarah Resort in Gazipur, bringing together senior leadership and key officials to review performance and outline strategic goals for the coming year.

Engr. Md. Moklesur Rahman, Chairman of SBAC Bank PLC, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest. The event was presided over by S. M. Mainul Kabir, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank.

During the conference, the bank’s financial performance was highlighted. By the end of 2025, total deposits reached Tk 10,800 crore, while total loans stood at Tk 9,445 crore. The bank’s paid-up capital currently amounts to Tk 824 crore.

Directors Mohammed Ayub, A.K.M. Delwer Hussain and Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Shahedul Haque, psc were present at the programme. Independent directors Professor Md. Maksudur Rahman Sarker FCMA and Ziaur Rahman Zia FCA also attended the conference.

The business session was conducted by Md. Rabiul Islam, Additional Managing Director and Md. Altaf Hossain Bhuyan, Deputy Managing Director.

Senior Executives, Divisional Heads, Branch Managers and Sub-Branch In-Charges from across the country participated in the conference, where strategies for sustainable growth, enhanced customer service and business expansion were discussed.
