South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce (SBAC) Bank Limited convened its Annual Risk Conference 2023 at the Bank’s Head Office Training Institute on Saturday, December 9, 2023. The day-long event commenced with Mr. Mohammad Nazmul Huq, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee and director of the Board, serving as the chief guest during the inaugural ceremony. Leading the conference was Mr. Habibur Rahman, the Bank’s Managing Director & CEO, while Mr. Arif Hossain Khan and Mr. Md. Zabdul Islam, Directors of the Department of Off-site Supervision (Divisions 1 and 2) of Bangladesh Bank, graced the occasion as special guests.

Mr. Md. Abdul Matin, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Risk Officer of SBAC Bank, delivered a welcoming address, setting the tone for the insightful discussions that followed. The conference featured presentations by Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Md. Nurul Azim and Mr. Md. Altaf Hossain Bhuyan, as well as Joint Directors of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Mohammad Monir Hossain and Mr. S.M. Khaled Abdullah, who shared their expertise as resource persons.
