SBAC Bank PLC. successfully held its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the RAOWA Convention Hall, Dhaka, through a hybrid system combining both online and physical participation. The meeting was presided over by the Bank’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. AZM Shofiuddin Shamim, MP.

During the AGM, shareholders approved the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, along with the Auditors’ Report and Directors’ Report. They also approved the declaration of a cash dividend for shareholders, the election and re-election of retired directors, the appointment of independent directors, and seven other key agenda items.

The meeting was attended by the Bank’s Managing Director & CEO, Mr. Habibur Rahman, along with Directors Mr. Mohammed Ayub, Mr. Mohammad Nawaz, Mr. Mohammad Mahbubor Rahman, Mr. Shohel Ahmed, and Independent Director Mr. Md. Sajidur Rahman.

Shareholders and sponsor shareholders actively participated in the meeting, along with Additional Managing Director Mr. Md. Nurul Azim, senior executives, divisional heads, and branch managers of the Bank. The program was moderated by the Bank’s EVP & Company Secretary, Mr. Md. Mokaddess Ali.
